Sales is the lifeblood of any business. So, it is strange that sales tools focus on managing sales teams and not helping sales teams. After all, other functions have tools that help them make better plans. Manufacturing has a lot. So does procurement.

But sales stopped with CRM, which essentially tracks teams and customer interactions.

We had struggled with a lack of sales tools too. Where there were tools, they were fragmented. One system to track pricing. Another for promotions. Data was scattered.

One option was to call in a team of consultants to study the problem holistically, analyse the data and recommend what can be done to improve sales. That was expensive and works only at a point in time.

So, we felt it was time for some automation to step in.

When we started, it was obvious why there were no tools that actually helped sales teams. It was difficult. So, after a few years of working with B2B sales heads and CEOs we have brought out the first version of DeepSell – a tool that analyses your sales and identifies opportunities and risks for you.
